Associates Newsletter – July

With Spring having turned into Summer here is a quick look back at that ‘bouncy’ season and what Summer has to offer! Here are just some of the things clients have enjoyed being in, and in some cases still appearing in:

In the West End: “Matilda,” “Harry Potter & the Cursed Child,” “Annie”, “Queen Anne” &“The Ghost House.” Theatre Tours of “Mary Poppins”, “The Winter’s Tale”, “Pinot the Musical”, “Three Men in a Boat”, “Northanger Abbey” and “Murder on the Terrace”. Both “Robin Hood” (York Theatre Royal)  and “Heaven on Earth” (Arena Tour) are in rehearsals and we are totally over excited to see our client in “The Band,” and with time ever pressing on we have started accepting offers for Pantos!

In Television our client won two Soap Awards for “Hollyoaks”, as well as two other clients appearing in one off episodes. (Hopefully you all saw our previous award news item, thrilled with this year’s collection including BAFTA’s and a Gold Lion from Cannes!) Great to see clients in the gripping “Line of Duty”, the ever popular “Inside no 9” and the sun-drenched “Benidorm.” Great to have clients back in “Doctors” and “Coronation Street” as well as new works such as “Porters.” With CBeebies “Waffle the Wonder Dog” filming for another solid four months the cameras are constantly rolling on our clients at the moment!

Feature films are always elusive and we currently have our fingers crossed on a couple of really big ones! However we enjoyed being involved with, “The Man Who Killed Don Quixote”, “Loveless”, “Fighting with my Family” and clients are currently filming “Intrigo: Dear Agnes.”

Commercials are bountiful, clients have been filming them in France, Budapest, Serbia, as well as in numerous London studios. The world of educational shoots has gone particularly mad and pretty much every single week at least one client, usually more, have been working either on textbook covers, green screen shoots or the DVDs for various markets around the world.

This is clearly not an exhaustive list but hopefully keeps you in the loop with at least some of the work we have been doing.
