Agency

Providing representation to children & young performers

Within all areas of the entertainment industry

The Jackie Palmer Agency has been providing representation to children working within all areas of the entertainment industry: Theatre, Film & Television since 1971. All our child clients appear in the Spotlight Directory, as is standard industry practice. From suggesting children to casting directors, organising auditions, negotiating subsequent contracts, to payment, we aim to guide our child clients and their parents through this extraordinary industry.

Child Artists & Young Performers (5 – 22)

If your child lives locally they must first attend the Jackie Palmer Stage School based in High Wycombe (www.jackiepalmerstageschool.co.uk).  They would then be offered automatic entry on to the Agency.  If you are not local you can apply directly to the Agency via email agent@jpaassociates.co.uk

Once we have received your child’s / young performers details we will be in touch if we can offer them an audition.  If you haven’t heard from us within 3 months please assume we are unable to offer an audition at this time.

Young Performers are 16-22 year olds who are considering a career in the entertainment industry. A young performer no longer requires a licence from their council to work or a chaperone to accompany them on set, they will be treated as an adult by casting directors, production companies and us. We do expect all our Young Performers to show total commitment to the agency and have a genuine passion to pursue a career in performance.

All our clients appear in the Spotlight Directory, as is standard practice and the most effective way for us to suggest our clients for work. We will endeavour to make the transition from child to Young Performer as smooth as possible and are here to guide all our Young Performers along this exciting path.
